Evropské dialogy

This year's first concert under the auspices of Ensemble Opera Diversa brings a slightly unusual recital format for the ensemble. Baritone of Michal Marhold and pianist Patrik Červík will be performed by a selection of works, which is accentuated primarily by the unjustly neglected form of an artificial song with the accompaniment of the piano. The songs Francis Poulenca, Petr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Vítězslav Novák and others are interleaved by solo piano compositions by Daria Milhauld, Claude Debussy, Dimitri Šostakovich and Miloslav Kabeláč. The music program is complemented by comments by Patrik Červík, who give the audience a historical and psychological context, helping to understand individual works. European dialogues are at least using music connecting today's split Europe that just lacks that dialogue. (1908-1979)-8 Preludia (1956), Selection
