“Let’s Talk About Food” – An art exhibition by Tainá Guedes, inspired by the 17 sustainability goalsWILMA shopping, Berlin-Charlottenburg
17. September – December 30, 2025What do our diets and the future of the world have in common? The art installation “Let’s Talk About Food” by the artist Tainá Guedes invites visitors to explore exactly this question. At the heart of WILMA Shopping, a walk-in, abstract forest landscape is created in which 17 treasure chests are hidden - each of which is dedicated to one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals) and their connection to nutrition. In this poetic and visually powerful environment you will encounter small works of art, statements and inspiration that make you think, Discuss and stimulate action. Admission is free.
Workshops and tours for school classes can be booked at [email protected]. Tainá Guedes is a food activist, artist and author. She was born in São Paulo and trained as a chef at Senac University. She founded her own Japanese restaurant while studying, and later learned the traditional vegetarian Shojin Ryori cuisine in Japan. In 2014 she founded the Entretempo Kitchen Gallery in Berlin, a gallery with an integrated kitchen dedicated to food art and exploring the social meaning of food. She is the founder of food art week*. Author of the books “Cooking with Bread” (oekom Verlag) and “The Kitchen of Mindfulness” (Kunstmann Verlag). The immersive art installation "Let's Talk About Food" by artist Tainá Guedes invites the public to explore this essential question.Inside WILMA Shopping, visitors will step into an abstract forest landscape, where 17 treasure boxes each reveal a small art installation linking food to one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.This poetic, multisensory journey brings attention to the social, environmental, and emotional dimensions of what we eat — and inspires us to take part in shaping a better world.Admission is free.
