Each Saturday session is dedicated to a different stage of pregnancy and postpartum care, empowering you and your partner with essential knowledge and practical skills. Whether you’re preparing for birth, creating a birth plan, or navigating the challenges of the early days of parenthood, our experts are here to provide you with the guidance you need.
Week 1: What to expect from a Portuguese hospital (public/private)

Learn about the stages of labour and delivery, from the moment you step through the doors to the initial stages of your baby’s birth.
This session is all about preparation and peace of mind, ensuring you’re confident as you approach the big day.
Week 2: Birth by Vaginal Delivery or Cesarean Section
Explore the different types of delivery, including vaginal birth and cesarean section.
Learn about the physiology of labour, indications for assisted births, and what to expect after a cesarean.

Week 3: Crafting Your Birth Plan
