The Expeditions series was founded in spring 2018 with the clear vision of breaking out of the monotony that defines most pure techno nights in Berlin. The concept is to create a clear musical distinction between the different parts of the night. We strive to create a clear beginning and a decisive end.
The main focus of the Expeditions is on the classic and traditional aspects of techno: from Detroit groove to hypnotic and atmospheric storytelling. The whole thing is complemented by the more contemporary interpretations of the genre.
We believe in techno as a journey intended for the dance floor and not for podcasts. “When you stop moving, you start dying,” and that's why energy and movement are the common denominator of all expedition events and curations.
▆ What to expect
⦿ Power Deck: Well-curated interpretations of classic techno music: from Detroit groove to hypnotic and atmospheric beats.
No minimalism, no sophisticated Sermon.
⦿ Speed Deck: Young, fresh, cheeky and trance contemporary interpretations of techno.
⦿ DJs at eye level, musically educated audience and Berlin underground at its best.
