eXplore! Night 2025 – Neues unternehmen für Österreichs Wirtschaft

Celebrate the 5th anniversary of eXplore with us! Research initiative!

In the past five years, the eXplore! Initiative research and practice brought together to create new impulses for entrepreneurship, innovation and Austria as a business location.

At the halfway point of the ten-year funding period, we are now taking a first comprehensive interim assessment: What results have been achieved so far? How do the individual research projects specifically contribute to strengthening entrepreneurship and the location? And which research topics will be the focus in the next five years?

The eXplore! Night 2025 offers a unique framework to provide answers to these questions. We present the most important projects and milestones of the funding period so far and bring all relevant actors together in one evening for the first time.

A particular highlight of the evening is the keynote by Claudia Steinwender (LMU Munich) on the topic of “Innovation and Economic Growth in a Globalized World”. In it, she examines the connection between innovation and economic growth in a global context and shows how research and entrepreneurship intertwine to strengthen the competitiveness of individual locations. With impulses for international innovation policy, it opens up new perspectives for the coming years - and thus addresses the central concern of eXplore! to: build the bridge between science and business.
