The progressive metal titans from Dream Theater is celebrating its 40th anniversary on their upcoming tour "An Evening With Dream Theater" - but not only that, fans can also experience the iconic lineup for the first time in 14 years; James LaBrie, John Myung, John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy and Jordan Rudess on tour together – a tour that hits Poolen in Copenhagen with a bang on November 10.
“This tour is going to be incredibly special for all of us! Each show will surely be filled with anticipation and a variety of emotions. We can't wait to step on stage together once again and begin this historic celebration of 40 years with everyone this Fall. This is just the beginning, and we will have plenty of more exciting Dream Theater news to share in the coming months,” - Dream Theater
Mike Portnoy is back behind the barrels as Dream Theater embarks on their new tour at the O2 London in October – a tour that takes them around 23 stops in Europe, where Dream Theater promises their many fans an unforgettable night with all the classics and fan favorites from their massive back catalogue.
After four decades as a band, the seasoned Grammy winners have more than hundreds of concerts and over 15 million records sold on their CV. They released their latest album A View From The Top Of The World in 2021, which among other things brought them a tour for K.B. Hallen the following year.
The band is currently spending time in their DTHQ studio, where they are working on studio album number 16 - which also marks their first album with Mike Portnoy behind the drums since Black Clouds & Silver Linings from 2009.
