FACES & PLACES (Jazz)
Event by: Heiko Lehmann
Location: Alter Schwede, Schwedenstraße 11A, Berlin - Mitte
About event
The Faces & Places Quartet is dedicated to two greats in jazz history: Thelonius Monk and Ornette Coleman. They play their favorite pieces from these giants in their very own, individual way, breaking down structures and expanding the improvisations. All band members have long been an important part of Berlin's agile jazz scene and have left their mark on the international music scene in a wide variety of formations. An evening full of surprises, adventurous improvisations and wonderful songs.
