In the Garrotxa region, near the Coll de Can Batlle, San Miguel de Sacot, of the Pla de Sacot and, by the Collada of Bassols, it is located on the southwest flank of the Volcano of Santa Margarida, the phagea d'E in Jordà surrounded by a good part of the volcanoes in the Garrotxa region.

The phagea d'An Jordà is one of the natural reserves of the natural park and an exceptional beech forest because it grows on a flat terrain and is based on a lava cast from the Croscat volcano, which offers an injured relief, with abundant very characteristic prominences, which can reach more than 20 m high and that receive the local name of Tossols. It is part of the Natural Park of the Garrotxa volcanic zone and extends through the municipalities of Santa Pau, Olot and them.

On the other hand, in the municipality of Olot, very close to Parc Nou we find the places of La Moixina. It is a place of great geobotanical interest, with a remarkable biological diversity and that is the protagonist of water. The special charm of this landscape has inspired numerous painters.
