On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, district mayor Jörn Oltmann, the women's and equal opportunities officer Julia Selge and the employee for the implementation of the Istanbul Convention Cleo Meinhold together with representatives of women's and girls' projects, district politics and anti-violence projects raise the state's own anti-violence flag in order to jointly send a clear signal against violence against women.
The Berlin-wide anti-violence flag will also be raised for the first time on November 25, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Tempelhof town hall by deputy district mayor Matthias Steuckardt and district councilor Dr. Saskia Ellenbeck hoisted.
