About event
The new Checker Tobi film can be seen as a preview in cinemas on Sunday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. (without online Q&A). A documentary adventure film with Tobi Krell, Marina Blanke, Theodor Latta. -- And in the cinema every day from January 8th!
While cleaning up the cellar, Tobi and Marina discover an old video recording: Eight-year-old Tobi is hosting a self-invented show about the earth in our soils - and asks his very first "checker question": Who leaves the most powerful traces in the soil?
But Tobi has forgotten the answer to that again. He sets out to search for clues and thus embarks on his greatest adventure to date. This takes him to the flora and fauna of Madagascar, to the permafrost region of Svalbard and to the traces of the ancient Maya in Mexico. Only when he realizes what connects all soils and what that has to do with us can he answer his biggest challenger, himself.
After the first two Checker Tobi films THE SECRET OF OUR PLANET and THE JOURNEY TO THE FLYING RIVERS, which reached an audience of millions, the popular KiKA presenter once again inspires with adventure, wit and knowledge - and shows that education is really fun can!
"Always at eye level with his target audience, Tobias Krell combines entertainment with the transfer of knowledge in a relaxed and charming way." (RND)
