About event
Paris, February 28, 1886 - the composer Camille Saint-Saens (Andreas Peer Kähler) welcomes the guests of his house concert and announces with a smile the premiere of one of the most famous family concert programs of the next 200 years... But before that, a few instruments have to be introduced and animals have to be guessed by the audience! A stage play that is as entertaining as it is humorous about the CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS, which at the end is performed completely and staged (with ballet) by 50 young dancers, the young pianist duo Helena Zehnder and Johannes Storch and the Unter den Linden chamber orchestra. In cooperation with the “Leo Borchard” music school and the Zehlendorf ballet and dance studio, directed by Franziska Rengger.
From 5 years old - approx. 70 minutes (no break)
After the concert: Try out the orchestral instruments of the Sounding Museum Berlin in the foyer.
