Are you afraid of what you will learn about yourself?
The production based on real testimonies of high school students opens the intergenerational dialogue over the questions of the understanding of contemporary family and family life.
📚 Research and process of origin:
We focused on the young generation last year. After the production of grief, which was created during the April tour in Ukraine and captured the stories of young people from incomplete families in the Czech exile and in Ukraine, and after the production of Velvet Holub, inspired by the Charles University analysis on the mental health of young people, comes with a new project about the young generation to family and parenting. realized at Czech secondary schools. Through a questionnaire with almost forty questions, we found out how today's young people perceive the concept of the family. The research was attended by 200 students and their answers became a direct inspiration for the screenplay and concept of the production. The production is deliberately conceived for viewers of all ages - the intergenerational dialogue over the question "How the family perceived today's young people" consider the creators a key element of the project.
