About event
We invite you to Ponrepa for the fifth evening of the series to celebrate 80 years since the founding of FAMU, which takes place on May 27 from 5:30 p.m. and will present the work of the Department of Directing.
The program will offer a cross-section of exercises and short films that students create during their studies. We will present successful graduate and bachelor films, but also films from the second years and studies from the first years. Among the selected short films from the last twenty years, there is also the winning film of the Cinéfondation student section from Cannes, The Baby by Zuzana Kirchnerová, the cult film Nora za mi moj by the late director Aramisov, as well as the more recent works Cukr a sól, Osmý den and also the short film Pes a vlk, recently awarded the Czech Lion.
The screening will be followed by a discussion led by Bohdan Sláma with the creators of the films shown: Zuzana Kirchnerová, Terezia Halamová, Adam Martinec and Petr Pylypčuk.
