Fantan Mojah - Melkweg Amsterdam

Fantan Mojah is the musical alias of Jamaican reggae singer Owen Moncrieffe. His music is a powerful mix of roots reggae and dancehall, inspired by Burning Spear and Buju Banton, among others. He is a committed Rastafarian and this is reflected in his positive lyrics, rather than about violence or sex. He immediately made his international breakthrough with his debut album 'Hail The King' from 2005 and subsequent albums 'Stronger' and 'Rasta Got Soul' were also very successful. It has been more than ten years since he performed at the Melkweg, fortunately he is back - with support from Unstoppable Fyah and UG Dias.
