About event
A sit fast concert with Walter van Hauwe, Paul Schauenburg (recorder) and Liubov Titarenko (harpsichord).
Far Ears
Maarten Altena (1943) is an icon of Dutch music. Both in the field of composed and improvised music, he opts for groundbreaking risk without reservation. Far Ears is the newest composition written by this important composer and will premiere during this concert! The piece was originally written for two recorders, using different types (C-bass, basset and tenor).
Exigeant
This program combines the harpsichord pieces from the 17th, 18th and 21st centuries of Italian, French, Ukrainian and Dutch composers. What are the differences in the
Approach of the instrument between the composers? And what challenges and requirements are there for the performer? Come and listen and discover the beauty of the harpsichord sound through the music of G.Frescobaldi, L. Marchand, Z. Almashi and H. Tawfiq.
Louis Marchand (France, 1669-1732). Prélude et Chaconne from Suite and Ré Mineur (1702) Girolamo Frescobaldi (Italy, 1583-1643). Cento Partite Sopra Passacagli from Toccate E Partite d’tavolatura, Libro 1 (1637) Zoltan Almashi (Ukraine, 1975): Ode (2009) Hawar Tawfiq (the Netherlands, 1982): Exigeant (2019)
