Location: Puppentheater-Museum, Karl-Marx-Straße 135, Berlin - Bezirk Neukölln
About event
Ina Durand's "Teatro en una Maleta"
presents:
"Faust - The Gretchen Tragedy"
After Goethe "Faust. The Tragedy First Part"
A play with puppets and objects
Duration of the performance: 1 hour
The story of Dr. Faust, who makes a contract with the devil.
On his journey he meets Gretchen, a modest young woman who
gives him all her trust and her heart. This is where the Gretchen tragedy begins, a painful journey to the redemption of her soul. So is it love that
frees our souls?
The classic, open and direct, humorous and approachable.
Visually inspired by German expressionism, combined with medieval
aesthetics. Contemporary music expands the typical Latin American melodramatic “Teatro en una Maleta” style.
