About the organizer
The "Sorority" association is a cross-industry network for women and... people read as women, which was founded in Vienna in 2014. For ten years we have been creating analog and digital spaces and safe[r] spaces for women and female-read people to exchange experiences, strengthen and support each other and to advance the discourse on equality and intersectional feminism. Hundreds of events, interviews, panel discussions, blog posts, general meetings, get-togethers and a book later, we are convinced that the Sorority has touched a nerve. We combine socio-political topics and discussions about equality and feminism - always in an intersectional way - with culture, entertainment and humor in an innovative, appealing way.
