Celebrating Christmas is synonymous with family fun , of sharing, friendship and solidarity. In addition to being a religious festival, Christmas is a global festival and its celebration is diverse and plural throughout the world. In a multicultural city like Lisbon, where people from 175 countries currently reside, different traditions, rituals and celebrations abound, although with one thing in common: a rich table made up of many foods, with the family together. These holidays are an invitation to travel the world, guided by diversity and respect, discovering some of the main traditions and festivals of some of the most important communities that inhabit Lisbon.
