About event
Fermata 50+ Anniversary tour 2025
Autumn 2024 prepared several significant events in the life of the Fermata group and its main protagonist Fer Griglák. A new book monograph about the band has reached the shelves of bookstores, and after more than thirty years, the well-known albums Simile and Real Time, which opened another stage in the group's life in the first half of the nineties, were reissued. Last fall, however, Fermata returned to the concert stage after four years and played a series of extremely successful concerts in ten Slovak cities with a great response from their fans.
After a year, Fermata goes on tour again, on which it continues to remind the five decades of the group's existence. Fans can look forward not only to the most famous songs from the albums Huascaran, Simile or Blumenthal blues.
The exceptional lineup of Fermata will be presented on stage - keyboard player Matej "Maxo" Mikloš, bassist Tamás Belicza, and the first-class instrumentalist and drummer Martin Valihora will be a special guest during the tour.
Tour groups Fermata 50+ Anniversary Tour 2025 was supported from public funds by the Art Support Fund and the SOZA Social and Cultural Fund.
