33. year of the renowned New Slovak Music festival organized by the Slovak Composers' Association refers to the current work of Slovak music creators. It can be the works of established authors, but also the discovery of new talents. At this year's edition, three Slovak female composers who have already achieved many successes at international author competitions will present their premieres in Žilina. There will also be the premiere of a work by concert conductor Marián Lejava and a double bass concert by the popular, recently deceased, author from Žilina, Pavel Krška, performed by world-renowned Žilina native Roman Patkoló.
