About event
The Open House Prague 2025 festival will open the premises of the National Archives and the State Regional Archive in Prague. On Saturdays and Sundays 17th and 18th May 2025 from 10 am to 6 pm you can look forward to group tours! We will also show you the disinfectant line. We will also go to the penultimate floor with visitors, with a great view of the capital.
On Chodovec we have barrier -free space on the ground floor of the building, including the toilet for the handicapped, unfortunately it is not possible to enable larger luggage.
In the building of the National Archive in Milady Horáková Street in Prague 6, the building of the former archive of the Czech country will be open in the functionalist style of the 1930s. It will include a small exhibition of facsimiles of some well -known archival materials and visitors will also see the model of the local building. An exhibition on the translocation plans of Jewish settlement from the 18th century will be prepared.
The festival on Chodovec will be accompanied by a panel exhibition. The State Regional Archive in Prague will prepare an exhibition “Step by step behind our (famous) ancestors,” the National Archive will present an exhibition on events in the last months of World War II.
There will be a photo corner for visitors!
How do you get to us? Public transport at the stop Chodovec and from there just a short walk, to the building in Milady Horáková Street ideally on foot from the Hradčanská stop.
