About event
We invite you to the fourth of a series of professional events within the 2025 Festival of the Rule of Law on the state of the rule of law in Slovakia in the context of human rights.
On Thursday, October 23, from 5:00 p.m. in the premises of Tabačka Kulturfabrik in Košice, we will jointly discuss the human rights of various minorities in Slovakia and the rule of law.
Come. after work to have refreshments and discuss how the human rights of various minorities are observed and their relationship to the principles of the rule of law. You will learn more about how the human rights of minorities enter topics related to the rule of law, what tools are available to them, whether they are used, and whether by chance we are not forgetting minorities when protecting the principles of the rule of law.
The panel discussion will be attended by:
• Petra Melikantová, KIND (Kids in Need of Defense)
• Michaela Dojčinovičová, League for Human Rights
• Joachim Dušan Fraňo, third sector lawyer
The discussion will be moderated by Marián Filčík from the Slovak National Center for human rights.
