About event
We invite you to the next in a series of expert discussions within the Rule of Law Festival 2025 on the state of the rule of law in Slovakia in the context of human rights. This time we will discuss media freedom and the protection of journalists in Slovakia over the past year.
The discussion will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 17:00 in the premises of Lab.cafe next to Stara Tržnica in Bratislava (Námestie SNP 25). With our guests, we will address the current challenges of protecting freedom of expression, as well as the protection of journalists in our environment, or the support of media freedom through the European Act on Freedom of the Media and what it means for our media.
They will discuss:

• Mr. Željko Martyn Sampor (expert in the field of SLAPP regulation and media plurality)
