About event
On the first weekend of November, the Festival for Passenger Spectators celebrating 50 years since the opening of metro line C will break out, during which visitors and random passengers will be able to participate in a series of artistic performances at Kačerov, Budějovická, Vyšehrad and I.P. Pavlova stations. The interventions playfully work with the local specificity and architecture of the subway, which they update and revive with their temporary interventions. You can look forward to a series of walks, participation games, theatrical performances or ritual ceremonies lasting several days.
What's on the program?
🔴 Jakub Jahn - KRÁLOVNIČKY (Kačerov metro station) - "Folk tradition says that the one who cleans the well will be lucky." A several-day ritual purification ceremony fountains pointing to the lack of physical maintenance and the need to perceive neglected spaces. The performance is part of the festive ending of the festival with a surprise , only the procedure – roll the dice and open the playing field with a hidden question about interpersonal relationships.
🔴 Savka Marenić - Whisper in the Valley (Vyšehrad metro station) - A staged performative drama following a tourist who came to enjoy a vacation in Prague - one but he sees something strange. The audience is accompanied by an audio story and actors who reveal the mysticism and identity of a specific place.
🔴 Ludvík Píza & Anna Datiashvili - UTOPIE (Vyšehrad metro station) - Performative (audio) walk with several performers. The audience tunes in to the flow of rhythms, times, motifs and meanings. Let's slow down and listen to the stories of walls, sleepers and materials and those that we normally don't perceive.
🔴 Tereza Holubová - From point A to point B (I.P. Pavlova metro station) - Group of performers, monochromatic color, synchronized choreography. Disruption of the perception of travel as only an intermediate phase of the journey between point A and B.
Registration will be required for two walks around Vyšehrad.

What's on the program?
