Over the following decades, more than 6,000 monasteries were destroyed in Tibet, nearly 2,000,000 Tibetans lost their lives in labor camps, prisons and the consequences of famine. The oppression and violation of religious freedoms continue on the "roof of the world" today. The fate of Tibet, the environmental crisis, but also the message of his non -violent journey in the struggle for freedom, to preserve his own traditions and language touches every person not only because of the globalization of the world, but especially because of the most innermost human nature that connects us all. The fate of Tibet is our destiny.
Bridge, o. p. s. Since 2004, it has supported education and improves the living conditions of people living in the Indian Himalayas and Tibet. It helps thousands of Tibetan children, seniors, monks, nuns and nomadic families.
The Festival visitors in Čavanga Košice are waiting for travel lectures by G. Čandová about her travels after Nepal, screening of Good Bye Tibet and creative workshop
