About event
As part of the Freedom and Democracy Festival, on 14 November 2024 at 18:00, we invite you to a discussion about how freedom opened up to us 35 years ago and how we manage to live it. The discussion will be led by the writer and experienced moderator of discussion evenings, Michal Havran.
The guests will talk about the times of the disintegration of the Iron Curtain in Europe, its causes and consequences in the contexts of Slovak and Norwegian realities. Kristenn Einarsson (NO), president of WEXFO (World Experession Forum – World Forum of Freedom of Expression), Beáta Balogová (SK), journalist, SME editor-in-chief, Jozef Gertli Danglár (SK), illustrator, painter and author of comics will discuss.
