On October 21st, Andrea Nikolić and the WISE Ensemble will open the new Echos and Horizons season with a special evening:
The festive season opening concert, which is also the brilliant conclusion of the season, will be performed under the title “Echoes of Vareš”. VaClaF & CRO-ArT Festivals 2025.
The Cipra String Quartet, the oboists Markus Deuter and Ivana Nikolić, the double bass player Evan Hulbert and other musical companions will perform - with music by Zelenka, Pärt, Proy, Bregović and many more.

Echoes from Vareš
The season begins with a sound that carries memories: Echoes from Vareš combines folk song tradition, new compositions and contemporary reflections. An evening in which the past and present resonate and open the way for the entire season. Music Building Bridges 2025 Graduation!

Wonderful Landscape
With the festive Advent mood, a musical journey through mysterious soundscapes unfolds. Inspired by the debut CD of the same name, Wondrous Landscape (Andrea Nikolic & WISE!), tradition and innovation, intimate chamber music and timeless spirituality merge - a winter concert experience full of warmth and Depth.

Journeys of Time - Threads of Memory
In the middle of the season, the horizons open up: music transcends time and space. From great masters to contemporary voices, works will be heard that bring the past and future into dialogue. Journeys of Time - Threads of Memory is an expedition through eras, styles and human experiences.

Farewell but not Goodbye
At the end of the season there will be a program full of emotion and hope. Farewell but not Goodbye celebrates what remains - the power of music that has an impact beyond the moment and builds bridges into the coming season and the 7th CRO-ArT Festival. A celebration of farewell and new beginnings.
