About event
After the 2 orchestras Calango AllStyles OrkeStar (CAS OrkeStar) and Blackbird Café Orchestra (BBCO) brought a brilliant open-air concert to the stage in the ufaFabrik in the summer of 2024, this time it is going to the in-door stage of the theater hall.
CAS - musically active for a good two decades - is exploring the cello with its variety of instruments From baritone saxophone, clarinets, surdo and berimbau to voice and flute, the wide spectrum of danceable sounds and styles in the world.
BBCO - which has been performing on various stages in this city for 10 years with changing line-ups -, according to the Märkischer Oderzeitung, sweeps everyone off their feet with its “sounds from all over the world”!
Concentrated musical energy from Balkans, klezmer, Sinti, waltz and folk rock is released and forces the audience to move. In the end, both ensembles merge into one big happening. A world festival of music in the south of Berlin!
