About event
Folk songs a little differently, in depth. The Gadrew Way String Quartet will present well-known and lesser-known folk songs in arrangements by the composer Gabriela Vermelho and other authors.
Gabriela Vermelho, composer, singer, violinist and quinton player, as a composer and during her studies, devoted herself to folk songs for a long time . They will present the most common motifs found in the songs (love, wedding, but also work and war).
Gadrew Way – Gabriela Vermelho (1st violin), Ludmila Budínská (2nd violin), Helena Vovsová (viola), Adriana Voráčková (cello). During their concert tours in Europe, Asia, Australia and South America, they played with stars such as Sting, George Michael, Andrea Bocelli, Plácido Domingo, Karel Gott and Hana Hegerová. Gadrew Way play a stylistically unlimited repertoire, virtuosically, with taste and drive.
