About event
Come and fall in love with the oboe.
Marta Bílá, oboist of the National Theater Orchestra, will present her instrument, which he played solo with her at Carnegie Hall. Accompanied by Andrea Mottlová, he will present e.g. Concerto in C major by A. Vivaldi and listeners can also look forward to the leading virtuoso piece La favorita by A. Pasculli.
Marta Bílá, is from in 2007, a permanent member of the National Theater Opera Orchestra. She also performs at solo recitals in collaboration with excellent Czech organists (Jiřina Marešová, Aleš Bárta, Vladimír Jelínek, Vladimír Roubal and others). She participated in many international interpretation courses with important European professors and soloists. She started in the Pilsen Philharmonic as 1st oboist. And she has performed as a guest in the South Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic, the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Czech Philharmonic.
Andrea Mottlová is a solo pianist with a flair for chamber music, accompaniment and also for playing in an orchestra. As an orchestra player, she collaborates with leading Czech orchestras – Czech Philharmonic, Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra hl. m. Prague FOK, Film Philharmonic, National Theater Orchestra. A very nice curiosity in Andrea's career so far was the collaboration with the Oscar-winning director Jiří Menzel during the filming of his last film Donšajni, in which she played the character of a cheerful and hungry pianist.
