About the film:
The musical Pomáda from 1978 was one of the most visited films in all countries at the time of its release. The story takes place at Rydell High School in the 1950s. Senior Danny Zucco reunites with his friends after the holidays. He amazes them with the description of his love adventure by the sea. A new student, Sandy, appears among the girls. She also brags about her holiday meeting with a fantastic boy with whom she had a beautiful love story. When the "summer lovers" suddenly come face to face on Rydell, they almost lose their breath. However, love in a new environment of school and lots of friends has completely different rules than on a lonely sea beach...
The popular couple John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, who have become idols of the young generation with this film, sing, act and dance in the main role.
USA, 1978, 106 min, directed by Randal Kleiser, in the original version with Czech subtitles (ENGLISH FRIENDLY)
