About event
KARAVAN + DISCUSSION AFTER THE SCREENING
Come and watch the road movie Karavan - the recent winner of the Czech Lion for the best feature film of 2025. The film brings an intimate and courageous look at the themes of parenthood, the search for freedom and partner relationships, and explores the desire for a new beginning and the search for one's own identity outside of the role of mother. For the role of Zuza in the award-winning film Caravan, actress Juliána Brutovská won the award for best supporting actress. Julka and I will talk about the creation of the film, the shooting, and what it feels like to hold a lion statue in your hand immediately after the screening. We cordially invite you to the screening and discussion.
