Film screening of JARA - Radioactive Patriarchy: Women of Qazaqstan and Panel Discussion
Come join us for a film screening and a panel discussion in Vienna!
JARA explores how Soviet nuclear testing on Kazakh land continues to impact communities, particularly women, and unveils the tragic legacy of environmental destruction and human suffering.
After the film, disarmament and security experts will engage in the conversation on how these historical legacies intersect with today’s geopolitical realities. The panel aims to spark dialogue on how we can work together more effectively toward nuclear justice and disarmament.
