About event
FILM SCREENING: SK Lotus 🎬
Discover a story that shows how sport can be a place where prejudices are broken and new opportunities are created. SK Lotus draws you into the world of young people who face the challenges of finding their identity and integrating into society, but thanks to mutual support and coach Sovanna, they find the courage to stand up for their dreams. This film will warm your heart and remind you that everyone deserves a place where they can be themselves.
🧘 Come to our South Moravian Volunteer Center to relax for a while with a film that will motivate you to to be your authentic self and to fight for such an environment and conditions that will allow you and others to do so.
🗣 After the screening, we will talk together about how we can, as volunteers, help people facing similar challenges as you , whose fates we followed in the documentary - which organizations are dedicated to human rights issues and the LGBTQ+ community and how you too can get involved in them.
📍 WHEN AND WHERE:
Premises of the South Moravian Volunteer Center - Brno, Bratislavská 210/26
5. 11. 2024 at 6 p.m.
