🤔When at the turn of the 50th and 1960s at the Prague Film School and around it will meet a few bright young men and women, the stagnant waters of socialist-realist cinematography in Czechoslovakia will rise. Under the influence of the inspiration of the French new wave and the poetic filmmakers of the older generation, they throw up films full of raw reality and true imagination. The Czechoslovak Film Miracle will be confidently strangled among the civilian-veric positions of the films Štefan Uhra or Miloš Forman and the fantasy-poetic tuning of the works of Věra Chytilova or Ela Havetta. But the waves of creative freedom break on Russian tanks.
🎬prednáška is associated with the projection of film 322 (Dušan Hanák, 1969). With a sense of internal, subjectivized narration and the eye of the documentary filmmaker, he focused on a portrait of a man who, under the influence of the disease, reviews his life, working and private relationships so far. In the film, Hanák not only made up the narrative and stylistic innovations of the new wave in Czechoslovakia and in the world, but also established the inspirational dialogue of the film with literature and the visual arts and thus brought a rare reflection of hopes and crises of a short period called socialism with a human face.
