Learn like you can with professionals at our Filmriss Studio Workshop Studio equipment, lighting and models on set. The SEPI Studio is located in the heart of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, with 90 m² studio space, 4.2 m ceiling height and professional equipment such as Broncolor Siros 800S flashes, various light shapers, reflectors and backgrounds.

Contents:
Theory
- Explanation of studio equipment (flashes, reflectors, light shapers, backgrounds etc.). Photo walks and meet-ups with a relaxed atmosphere. Our goal is to bring the photography community together - no matter what camera or skill level you use. Good vibes, inspiring conversations and powerful images are our focus!

What should you bring?Bring your camera! Best digital, with hotshoe or X-Sync port for flash photography. Analog cameras are also possible as long as they can be synchronized with flashes. Your choice of camera and lens doesn’t matter much. However, we recommend focal lengths for portraits between 35-85mm (telephoto lenses over 200mm are not advantageous).

We have a minimum number of participants of 4 people. If this is not achieved, we may have to reschedule the workshop and you will of course receive a full refund of the ticket price.

Short-term cancellations up to 2 days before the start of the event without a good reason cannot unfortunately be refunded.

Who is Filmriss Berlin? Marvin Machler and Max Power have been organizing regular photo walks and meet-ups since March 2023 – always in a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. Our goal is to bring the photo community together, no matter what kind of camera you shoot with or skill level you bring along. Good vibes, inspiring conversations, and powerful images are at the heart of what we do.


Contents:
Theory
- Explanation of studio equipment (strobes, reflectors, light modifiers, backgrounds, etc.)
- Strobe and camera settings for studio photography
- Professional communication with models

Practical:
- Shooting with two setups (1x portraits of each other, 1x model)
