“Vasko and the violin” is a film about the life of the concertmaster of the Royal Opera in London, Vasko Vassilev, who traces his path from a boy from a poor neighborhood to one of the greatest violinists of his time. Historical events that shaped the Eastern and Western worlds intertwine with and transform Vasko's life. “Vasko and the Violin” is not just a portrait film, but a story about the strength of character and the willingness to sacrifice of a family that accidentally produces a brilliant musician in their early youth and gradually grows into his support, regardless of the difficulties that life and the environment bring with them.
