World Philosophy Day 2025
The Department of Philosophy FF UPJŠ in Košice cordially invites all students, but also teachers, to its philosophical think room, which will be open on November 20, 2025 in room A2S6 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The philosophical think room is a quiet space where you can sit down, relax and slow down. You can bring your own book, read, think, or simply just be. You will have a board at your disposal where you can write down your thoughts, questions, or philosophical references for others.
World Philosophy Day reminds us that philosophy is not just for academics – philosophical questioning belongs to everyone who doubts, thinks, is curious... This day is our little celebration of losing the previous certainties and looking for new ones...
It doesn't matter if you read Plato, meditate over a cup of coffee, or having a deep conversation with friends - this can also mean the beginning of asking philosophical questions.
Therefore, find at least a moment to think on this day. Maybe you will find the answer you were looking for in the silence of your thoughts.
Come to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while and get closer to yourself...
