A special edition of the Philosophical Circle on the occasion of November 17.
At the meeting, we will focus on Simone Weil's notes on the general abolition of political parties, which were created during her English exile (1943) as part of reflections on the post-war arrangement of France. In the work, he primarily deals with the legitimacy of political parties and the question of whether the goal of their existence is really the common good, offering a critical analysis of the origin and implementation of partisanship in continental Europe and drawing attention to the risks that democracy, understood in this way, entails. at 18:00 in the bookshop part of our cafe.
