Finance is not a natural law - it is man -made and changeable! This was also addressed by the states' community at the climate conference in Paris 2015 and wrote in Article 2c of Climate Convention that money flows must be brought into harmony with low -emission and climate silants. But what does that mean with a view to specific banks, investment companies or insurance companies? To what extent can we find a lever in the finance industry to promote ecological-social change?
When it comes to finance decisions:
"What is cast today blooms tomorrow. (Quote: Greenpeace)
Every financial transaction looks ecologically, socially and economically
Money can do good and bad
In this workshop we examine the ecological and social effects of banks, investment companies and insurance companies. We examine the financial world together and discuss:
How do sustainability and financial system related?
What finance decisions do we have to meet today for a climate -friendly and socially just morning? We have personal options for a sustainable financial industry?
With impulse lectures, films, your own research and concrete examples, this workshop should convey more than just theory-ideally it becomes the starting point to see the financial world with new eyes and to recognize action. Institute
