Flamenco uit Huelva, Theater Crea 25 october 20:00

Gaspar de Holanda (Jasper Lockefeer) is no stranger in Utrecht. As a flamencogitarist, he was part of the Dutch Flamencoscene in the 90s and was a much sought-after singing and dance supervisor. Love then brought him to Huelva in Andalusia where, to date, he is a highly appreciated artist and composer. Also outside of Spain, he is also successful as evidenced by numerous music prizes and nominations he received for his albums Quejíos (2020) and Encuentros Flamencos (2023). His wife, Virginia Gomez is also not a stranger in the flamenco world. In addition to singer/ teacher, she is Vice President of the Federación Onubense de Peñas Flamencas and management of the Confederación de Peñas Flamencas de Andalucía. Her beautiful voice takes you to the beaches and Bergen of Huelva, among others. Indispensable in this Cuadro Flamenco is dancer Veronica Campos "La Canela". She also lives and works as a dance teacher in Huelva. With elegance and a great sense of rhythm, she sets the room on fire. And last but not least, Utrecht Cajaron (Ron van Holland), known for the règâhs, on Cajón. Flamenco from Huelva lets you experience this art from its purest form and feeling!
