In 2022, an incredible 50 years have passed since the release of the now cult Czechoslovak rock history album Kuřete v hodinkyk. Behind this unique musical feat is the Flamengo band today, the Flamengo Reunion Session, which relies on a pair of original Flamengo members, Pavel Fořt (guitar) and Vladimír "Guma" Kulhánek (bass). They are joined by Jan Holeček (Hammond B3, vocals), Jiří "Zelí" Zelenka (drums, vocals) and Vladimír Boryš Secký (saxophone and flute, vocals).
Flamengo Reunion Session follows the period of the 1970s - 1972, when the voice of Ivan Khunt and then Vladimír Mišík was heard behind the microphone. Concertgoers can therefore look forward to hearing the entire album Chicken in the Clock in all its glory. For all the songs on the album, we can name, for example, the iconic Frame of the Next Paintings, Me and the Smoke, Docks, Trains, Hunger and Boots, or Still onward. of old big beats can look forward to songs like Too Much Love isBadThing, Kádzdou poudno or Týden v elektrik ště, there will also be cult covers that Flamengo in the given period played. These are, for example, EvilWoman or TabaccoRoad.
It is also worth mentioning that this year 2024 Vladimír Guma Kulhánek celebrates his 80th birthday. We look forward to celebrating this jubilee with you, Flamengo and the Chicken in a watch.
