About event
Braiding is a craft practiced worldwide that has not yet been mastered by any machine. The interactive exhibition combines experiences, knowledge, innovation and stories about lichens. Who braids? With what? Why? The tour explores the development of a craft that is closely linked to issues such as economic growth, globalization and social injustice. A special highlight is the walk-in “Woven Garden” by the artist Olaf Holzapfel.
