Come along to fly in the footsteps of Otto Lilienthal in Lichterfelde. Angels can fly. But people?
Otto Lilienthal dreamed of flying since his childhood. Otto Lilienthal and flying are a Berlin story between Köpenicker Straße in Mitte and the “Fliegeberg” in Lichterfelder. Between the poetry in his book “Bird Flight as the Basis of the Art of Flying”, Icarus and his patent for the “flying apparatus”, we approach the fascination of flying.
On our spring tour you will get to know Otto Lilienthal between technical patents, mechanical engineering and poetry.
Meeting point: Otto Lilienthal Monument, Bäkestraße, 5 min. away from the Bäkestraße bus stop Busch 285 or M85
