About event
Vyšehrad is a sacred place where our people go during festive moments. It is not surprising that Smetana started his brilliant cycle of poems in Vyšehrad. The Prague Symphony Orchestra came here for the first time in June 2024 for their 90th birthday. It was a massive celebration, a close meeting of musical genres. For the second time in its history, FOK will fly on the wings from the Municipal House to Vyšehradské sady in June 2026, this time on the wings of the Dvořák family. With its chief conductor Tomáš Netopil, the orchestra will perform another iconic opus: the Old Slavonic New World.
