About event
The last FOLKLORE FIESTA this year will bring a folk music concert by MUZIČKA from Bratislava to the Lúč Club in Trenčín.
The band was formed in 1990 by a group of friends who were enchanted by unstylized, authentic Slovak folklore. Thanks to their unceasing enthusiasm, they became pioneers in the study of authentic recordings of Slovak folk singing and music and their subsequent interpretation on stage. Temperamental expression, enthusiasm and energy of the band members became a characteristic feature of Muzička.
The members of the band were involved in the creation of folklore events in Bratislava, which significantly shaped the folklore movement and at the same time made folklore accessible to the general public, such as Authentic Folklore Evenings or Dance Houses. They also have several music albums to their credit, which they released either independently or in collaboration with other folklore groups. The musicians of Muzičky enjoy entertaining people, and therefore they can put on a great concert for folklore connoisseurs, as well as excellent folk entertainment.
The band's long-term line-up consists of: Tomáš Brunovský (violin), Laco Fekete (violin), Ivan Hanula (violin), Martin Brunovský (violin counter), Mišo Brdársky (viola counter)
Peter Obuch (bass, bass).
After the band's concert, the musical evening will continue with informal music. Bring your musical instruments
This project is realized thanks to the support of the European Capital of Culture Trencin 2026 and the City of Trencin
