The Folklore Festival is a place where folk song and dance, traditional dishes and drinks and artistic crafts are combined. As last year, this time we give the opportunity to present ourselves to children and youth who are interested in keeping our folk customs. Professional and amateur folklore groups with all ingredients (music, singing, dance) will show you their art and we will not miss folk entertainment and fusion of music genres performed by the best groups. We look forward to seeing you, there will be something to watch. Since its inception, the Želiezko has been one of the top of Slovak youth folklore teams with a comprehensive repertoire and its own folk music. Ruthenians. Rust - Rust is a Slovak music band from Prešov, which plays author songs Slavomír Gibarti inspired by Slovak folklore with elements of folk, rock and influence of World Music. hod.)
DFS Čarnička - Children's Folklore Ensemble Čarnička focuses on stylized processing of children's games, traditional rhymes and obstacles, children's folk songs and dances of regional and general national tradition. It is significantly involved in the education of the young generation in Košice and its surroundings and to consolidate the relationship of children to folk traditions and customs. Through its repertoire, which captures a number of folk songs, customs and dances not only from Zemplin, it spreads Slovak culture for domestic and foreign audience. He published more than two dozen MC, CDs and DVDs with its humorous monologues. It has been on stage for more than 55 years. It has been almost two generations of children's dancers. Its main goal is to restore, preserve and develop various forms of Slovak folk art and their presentation. Hornád is considered to be the tip among folklore bodies in Slovakia. However, he has experienced the greatest success in 2017, when he became an absolute laureate of a nationwide competition of choreographies of folklore teams with the now cult choreography of painting. They certainly do not spare their energy for the widest audience. The combination of folk music with pop elements invites all generations to folklore and traditions. Spectators can look forward to a unique cultural experience performed by talented folk music enthusiasts. A unique demonstration of traditional folk culture enriched with non -traditional modifications will not let any audience sit.

Festival full of tasting and wine tasting from Slovak cellars. Spring berries as an accompanying event of the folklore terrace will bring the smell of berries and the opportunity to taste the best wines from Slovakia and with expert commentary and the opportunity to take home what you like most.
