The “crazy birds” are a big band from the Fanny Hensel music school in the Mitte-Tiergarten district of Berlin. The role models are the large orchestras from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Sammy Nestico, Henri Mancini, to modern big bands such as Bob Mintzer, Tim Davies and Gordon Goodwin and his Big Phat Band. The musical spectrum ranges from classic big band swing to Latin jazz and jazzy pop.
With a lot of fun in swing, pop and Latin, the band, led by Jotham Bleiberg, Ruben Giannotti and Paul Feise, shows off professional qualities and a colorful international program.

Julie Wolff is a Berlin singer and actress. She was and can be seen in many roles in a wide variety of musical, theater, operetta, variety and touring productions. In addition to the theater, Julie works as a singer in the areas of jazz, swing, chanson and pop.
