Event by: Skautský institut na Staromáku
Location: Old Town Square, Staroměstské náměstí, Praha 1
About event
Come and listen to the stories of Czech women scientists who, as a result of forced migration, were forced to leave their country and build a professional and personal life abroad.
The lecture takes place as part of the project Forgotten Pioneers: Remembering Europe's Migrant Women Scientists, which recalls the often neglected fates of women in science and brings them closer to a young audience in particular. In addition to their professional work, the focus will also be on the experience of leaving, finding a new home and continuing a career in a foreign environment.
