Forrest Gump

The film is literally riddled with various cultural and social references, seen, however, from the protagonist's bizarrely naive point of view, narrowly focused on a few main non-evaluative points of view. In addition to an exceptional sense of metaphor and brilliant humorous scenes, the film surprises with its pathetic tone and unusual melancholy. An important place here is given to technically perfect tricks in the style of Allen Zelig, allowing the hero to enter period documents and thus meet prominent personalities.
